Snap is a mobile app that helps you evaluate your outfits using AI. You can sign in with Google or Apple, capture or upload a photo, and receive category-based ratings and suggestions. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Data We Collect
- Account Information: Email, name, and profile photo (when available) via Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple (managed by Firebase Authentication).
- Outfit Photos and Ratings: Images you upload or capture, generated analysis, scores, and timestamps (stored in Firebase Storage and Cloud Firestore).
- Subscription Data: Purchase status and entitlement information to manage premium access (via RevenueCat).
- Usage Metrics: Non-sensitive in-app usage such as number of analyses to enforce daily limits and improve reliability.
- Device/Diagnostics: Basic diagnostics and logs for troubleshooting and performance (non-sensitive).
How We Use Data
- Authenticate users and maintain sessions.
- Analyze outfits and return AI-generated ratings and suggestions.
- Store your history so you can revisit past ratings.
- Manage purchases, subscriptions, and restore access across devices.
- Protect against abuse, enforce usage limits, and improve the app.
AI Processing
When you request an analysis, your photo and related prompts are transmitted securely to an AI service provider to generate results. We do not sell your images. Providers may temporarily process content to deliver the requested result.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore, and Storage.
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and entitlements.
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign In: Account creation and login.
- AI Provider: Image analysis to produce ratings and suggestions.
These providers may receive data necessary to operate their services subject to their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
- Account and history are retained while your account remains active.
- You may delete your account in Settings; this removes your user record, outfit ratings, and associated stored images.
- Transactional and legal records may be retained as required by law.
Your Choices
- Access/Update: Update your display name or photo via your sign-in provider where applicable.
- Delete: Use the in-app Delete Account option to remove your data.
- Opt-out: You can stop using the app and request account deletion at any time.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures and reputable cloud providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to protect your data.
Children
Snap is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us to request deletion.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in data centers outside your country, where privacy laws may differ.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app.
